When a matter calls for it, Martin Kanopka negotiates on site. On behalf of his clients, he has conducted contract negotiations on four different continents. This experience shapes his work: he knows that a contract must not only be legally sound, but should also fit the parties culturally and commercially.
Knowing business from the inside
Before devoting himself fully to legal practice, Martin Kanopka sat on the other side of the desk himself. As managing director of a real estate company, as in-house counsel at a construction industry association and as General Counsel for the German and Austrian subsidiaries of an international food group, he experienced the legal challenges of running a business first-hand. His clients benefit from this: he knows not only the law, but also the day-to-day reality, the time pressure and the way decisions are made in companies.

- Law studies with additional training in economics in Osnabrück and Paris
- Legal clerkship (Referendariat), including at the Regional Court of Osnabrück, a leading business law firm in north-western Germany and the German Embassy in Ottawa
- Admitted to the bar since 2009
- Professional positions as managing director of a real estate company, in-house counsel at a construction industry association and General Counsel Germany/Austria of an international food group
- Founder and owner of WYN LEGAL with offices in Frankfurt am Main, Hanover and Siegen
